Tuakana Teina - Papakura Haka

Room 11 went to the seniors today to have a lesson on how to do the Papakura Haka.

Yesterday we prepared for the lesson by seeing a recording of Cruze and TJ doing the Papakura Haka. The students got into groups of 4 to learn either the lyrics or the actions.

Today was a great way to get together to learn and practice.

    1. Hi Rebekah, the haka is a traditional activity that originates from Maori people, and that is why the haka is in Maori, te reo. I hope that answers your question.
