After a refreshing break, it's good to be back, settling into our routines.
Term 2's topic is Balance. Room 11 has started to explore the balance of our beaches' ecosystem: rocky shore, sandy shore and mudflats, especially as our school is so close to Pahurehure Inlet mudflat.
The Year 3 students made their first infographics on their Chromebooks about what happens if we let rubbish gather on our beaches. The students learned how to insert a table in google slides, select and insert photographs and resize them and move them. For some students this was an easy learn and for other students, using the trackpad is a frustrating experience as they get used to using their fingers in a different way to holding a pen/pencil.
The Year 4s made their own infographics and will be blogging them soon!
